Space to Relax in tune with nature
The Hut is about being in tune with nature and natural rhythms. It follows the cycle of the year through the seasons and celebrates these with ceremony, craft, meditations and musical activities.
The Hut has 8 side with doors representing the solstices and equinoxes facing east, west, south and north and representing the elements of air, earth, fire and water. The other walls represent the quarter days.
The Hut is lit by light portholes in the roof and candles.
The wood burning stove is placed in the centre of the hut for ceremony to link with spirit and for warmth.
The Hut is set in a garden that people can enjoy.
It is hoped that people coming to the hut and garden will find a space to relax, to connect with others and to continue developing in a natural setting.
